Julie Hoebel

A seasoned affordable housing professional, Julie Hoebel plays a critical role in advancing Grovewood’s mission of developing quality affordable housing and building stronger, more equitable communities.

As Director of Development and Real Estate Assets, Julie nurtures relationships with a wide range of stakeholders and development partners, from community members to local government practitioners and from diverse investors to representatives of financial institutions. She understands the value of collaboration and works closely with all parties to ensure projects are designed to meet the unique needs of the communities they serve.

Outside her professional pursuits, Julie is committed to strengthening her own community through active engagement at her daughter’s school and in her neighborhood, and through the joy of group performance at an East Indian Dance studio that celebrates life and diversity through the universal language of music and dance.

Julie has an MBA from the University of Denver and a bachelor’s degree in English from the George Washington University.
